A Letter

More than ten years ago, Asian Age newspaper published my poem titled ‘A Letter’. Just recently, I was sifting through some old papers. Surprisingly I fished out this poem.

I can still feel the same homesickness whenever I see a letter or e-mail from my home. The rustling of the papers is now replaced by clicks of the mouse. The sounds and feelings are upon me whenever I read and re-read the poem. I am reproducing the same poem below.

A Letter

A letter from home
Bites me in the heart.
Life as a want
Grows and grows
Out of its domain.

A letter lay on my desk
To be read again and again.
I read it again to imagine
My presence and answers
I would have given.

It is a complicated world,
Distance remains distanced-
The varied presence of lives
Around us, lie on sides
Etched fresh in minds.

My wants have grown day by day,
This world shrunk to the size
Of football, and those
Passing by seem closer, closet
To home, my honeyed-home.

Real Dreams

I am thrilled to inform you that my mystery novel ‘Untoward Dreams’ is now published.

The entire novel is now available in two parts as Amazon Shorts (see links above).

'Untoward Dreams' makes for an exceptional story of desire, mystery, and rollback as real as the dreams that propel them forward.

Please be sure to download both the parts for a fuller experience.

Running with Words

Hello world! Welcome to my writing muse blog.

Thinking is our forte, and we take pride in it. Thinking creates an identity of our individual. My identity is my prized possession. I want to share it with you in this blog.

I sincerely hope we meet here regularly for several months, years, and forever.

I feel as if part of me is meshed into this blog.

And here I am.

Welcome!
